La Baule Fish & Chips

Rather underwhelmed following the reviews we had read. The best summary would be well prepared traditional food. The souffl&eacute; was excellent. The mains were good if unremarkable. We found the starter fish cevice rather unbalanced. Raw lemon wedges and strong chilli notes overpowering the fish. Also, my fish was closer to tartare than cevice.Service efficient. Atmosphere rather dated.

We are at La Baule-Escoublac, France for the second time for holidays.Frequently we attended for our dinner at restaurant 16Art.Two years ago our dinners at this restaurant were very good both the food and the service.Today it was our fourth time this holiday that we visited for a dinner at 16Art.Our entree was a salade Marine; a very healthy and rich salade. Our main plate was for both of us a Cote du Boeuf. An excellent piece of meat; g&eacute;ant as we requested.As a desert we ordered a plateau de fromage and with our good choice of wine &ndash; Pommerol Le Lande 2016 &ndash; our dinner was completed.The food in general was excellent, but the service was perfect and very client-friendly.In particularly we like to mention the lovely serveerster Imma and also her collegue Kevin.In fact they made our dinner a nice event you will not easily forget and is a promotion for returning to 16Art. The restaurant has a great ambience and quite unique inside with the different levels.   Whilst it was busy it wasn&#39;t too noisy so the atmosphere was great.  The staff were very welcoming and friendly.  The food was excellent, we each had three courses, which was probably a bit much but worth it.  Absolutely excellent, would highly recommend and will definitely go again

Food and excellent ambience - but when you don&#39;t know the subtleties of the gift cards of applications for payment of an additional or it makes pass - with codes and applies to your bank account it becomes the gallery. Thanks- and only- to the server who devoted itself to finding a solution.Certainly to re-make but and only with an ancestral payment

Accueillir comme il est parfois rare de recevoir. Patron au petit oignon avec sa client&egrave;le. Les grands comme les petits. Le meilleur Fisher Andy chips de tout l&rsquo;ouest. Notre cantine quand nous voulons en d&eacute;guster un! Allez y les yeux ferm&eacute;s!

Host as it is sometimes rare to receive. Chief on the small oinch with its client. Big as small. The best Fisher Andy chips from all the west. Our cantine when we want to taste one! Go closed eyes!

Accueil tr&egrave;s chaleureux, nous avons &eacute;t&eacute; tr&egrave;s g&acirc;t&eacute;s, d&eacute;couverte gratuite des bi&egrave;res locales, fish&amp; chips d&eacute;licieux, pas gras. Nous reviendrons.

We have been very hot home, we have been very dessert, free local beer discovery, delicious fish &amp; chips, not fat.
